Unbelievable friendly and free to check diagnostic with proper snap on to see why engine management light came on. Other garage said would cost £85 just to check fault code.Highly recommend this garage!

Car Repairs & Diagnostics
At Ashton's Garage, we use up-to-date tools and equipment to investigate warning lights, running problems and harder-to-spot faults. Our diagnostic systems communicate with your car's onboard computers and sensors to help narrow down the cause.
Here's what we can do:
- Read and interpret ECU fault codes
- Check live sensor and performance data
- Investigate electrical and running issues
- Use suitable diagnostic systems for the vehicle being checked
The equipment helps us narrow down the fault, but the car still needs proper checks. Once we understand what is causing the problem, we can talk you through the repair before anything else is carried out.

My car was making a knocking noise and needed MOTing. Took it here last week. Friendly, polite, and a reasonable price. He communicated with me during the day as to any issues, and they have a courtesy car. All very positive. I will definitely go back.

Ashton came to the rescue after my car had some extremely shoddy and dangerous work carried out on my car elsewhere. He corrected all of the errors in a timely and efficient manner, updating me with his progress throughout. He is a honest and competent mechanic and I would thoroughly recommend him.

Myself and my 5yro broke down at the petrol station. Ash and his colleagues helped us get back on the road and gave us good advice. We are SO grateful for the help, it was incredibly kind. If they weren't there I don't know what we would've done. Thank you for your kindness!!

Recently took my car to Ashtons Garage for quite a bit of work that needed doing and MOT. The work was carried out in good time, very efficiently and well. Ash is an honest bloke and top mechanic, really pleased we found his garage. Will be taking my current and future vehicles to him. Highly reccomend his service.

I haven't brought my van to this garage, but you have fixed my mates van when every other mechanic said no and turned her away. She sounds amazing and now we are finally able to go away camping in our vans. Thank you so much Ash, you are a legend!
