The MOT has a defined job: test the vehicle against the required standards, record the result and make clear what that result means.
The vehicle is checked against the required MOT safety and environmental standards.
We explain failures and advisories clearly so you understand what the result means.
If work is needed, we can discuss the repair and provide an estimate before anything extra is carried out.
Request a date online or call the garage and we’ll confirm an available appointment.
What the MOT covers
An MOT checks whether a vehicle meets the required road-safety and environmental standards on the day of the test. It is not the same thing as a service or a full mechanical health check.
We’ll talk you through what has been recorded. If there are advisories or failures, we can explain what they mean and discuss any repair work separately.

Tell us your preferred date and vehicle details. We’ll check the diary and contact you with the next available appointment.
Useful answers before you book, including timing, pricing, failures and what the test covers.
